The Great Depression Boom and Bust in America
The recession started because the market was saying NO, we must stop consuming our wealth and stop borrowing what we cannot repay. I do think governments managed to stop a worldwide depression in 2008. However, only by continuing to consume the little real wealth that we have left. Thus, in some years the problem is going to be many times worse, and it already is. Let's hope it's only our children who have to deal with that, eh.
