CAR HACKING ~ Digital Carjackers Show Off New Attacks ~ is this how Michael Hastings was killed ?

A couple of hackers show off a series of nasty new attacks on cars—with Forbes' Andy Greenberg behind the wheel. "Stomping on the brakes of a 3,500-pound Ford Escape that refuses to stop--or even slow down--produces a unique feeling of anxiety. In this case it also produces a deep groaning sound, like an angry water buffalo bellowing somewhere under the SUV's chassis. The more I pound the pedal, the louder the groan gets--along with the delighted cackling of the two hackers sitting behind me in the backseat. Luckily, all of this is happening at less than 5mph. So the Escape merely plows into a stand of 6-foot-high weeds growing in the abandoned parking lot of a South Bend, Ind. strip mall that Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek have chosen as the testing grounds for the day's experiments..."

Car Video "Hackers Take Over" RFID Mark Of The Beast 666 Corruption in world governments and crazy new technologies are bringing the "Mark of the Beast" 666 is soon upon us .This what happened to award winning journalist Michael Hastings when his car was seen speeding hit a tree and the engine flew out of his Mercedes and the car car was on fire. Engines don't fly out of these cars by themselves! Guess what -They cremated Micheals body without his wifes consent..Micheal was the one who brought down General McKrystal.Someone had controller the car. Also he was on another hot government scandal,it's funny there are so many people insisting you "can't hack a car" .... do you realize there's a video from DARPA itself explaining exactly how they do it? you can infect the computer by accessing the CAN bus - they can do it through bluetooth, onstar, or even with infected audio files played in your CD player. just search 'darpa car hacking.

More Evidence Michael Hastings Was Assassinated ~ Mercedes: Our Cars Just Don't Blow Up!

Was MICHAEL HASTINGS Murdered?

What happend to Michael Hastings? The revelation that Rolling Stone journalist Michael Hastings was working on a story about the CIA before his death and had contacted a Wikileaks lawyer about being under investigation by the FBI hours before his car exploded into flames has bolstered increasingly valid claims that the 33-year-old was assassinated.

Hastings died last week in Hollywood when his car hit a tree at high speed.

According to a prominent security analyst, technology exists that could've allowed someone to hack his car. Former U.S. National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection, and Counter-terrorism Richard Clarke told The Huffington Post that what is known about the single-vehicle crash is "consistent with a car cyber attack."

Clarke said, "There is reason to believe that intelligence agencies for major powers" — including the United States — know how to remotely seize control of a car.

"What has been revealed as a result of some research at universities is that it's relatively easy to hack your way into the control system of a car, and to do such things as cause acceleration when the driver doesn't want acceleration, to throw on the brakes when the driver doesn't want the brakes on, to launch an air bag," Clarke told The Huffington Post. "You can do some really highly destructive things now, through hacking a car, and it's not that hard."

It's possible that Hastings car was hacked considering the people he had written about in his past and what he recently had been tlaking about.

Kathleen Fisher from DARPA recently did a presentation on the ease of hacking a standard american sedan. Volvo started the SARTRE (Safe Road Trains for the Environment) program in 2009 and they are now reporting that their testing has been "successfully completed." Hacking of a lemmings train like Volvo's, could lead to massive collisions on the roads and there should be major security concerns considering what recently has been learned.

Breaking! Michael Hastings Was Running From Feds

KTLA and the LA times have confirmed what Infowars and the people's press reported starting Wednesday night. This is important.
Authorities and media outlets have predictably moved to dismiss claims that Rolling Stone journalist Michael Hastings -- who complained of being under investigation by the FBI before his death in a fiery car crash on Tuesday -- was murdered as a result of foul play, despite the vehicle's engine being found 100 feet away from the scene of the blaze.

Something stopped the car dead in its tracks but the engine kept going,(ballistic calculation)whith its force of motion, looks like there was an explosion but did the brakes apply just befor or after the explosion, well done investigating reporters lets hope we can learn the truth about this very suspicious incident and blow the whistle on the criminals that caused it.

Was Michael Hastings Assassinated

The revelation that Rolling Stone journalist Michael Hastings was working on a story about the CIA before his death and had contacted a Wikileaks lawyer about being under investigation by the FBI hours before his car exploded into flames has bolstered increasingly valid claims that the 33-year-old was assassinated. The Los Angeles Coroner's office has not yet been able to officially identify the body as Hastings because it is so badly burned.

Was Michael Hastings Death An "Accident"? FBI Says At NO Time Was Hastings Under Investigation

Written by City News Service - Journalist Michael Hastings, whose blunt Rolling Stone profile of Gen. Stanley McChrystal led to the resignation of the commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, died today in a car crash in Los Angeles, according to the magazine and a website for which he worked. Officials with the Los Angeles County coroner's office could not immediately confirm if the 33-year-old Hastings was the person who died around 4:25 a.m. when a car smashed into a tree and caught fire on Highland Avenue near Melrose Avenue in the Hancock Park area. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation, but a cameraman at the scene said the vehicle, a Mercedes, was being driven at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred. The car's engine ended up 200 feet away from the collision site, he said. Lt. Fred Corral of the coroner's office said the body was burned beyond recognition, and the identity of the victim would not be known until at least Wednesday. The Hancock Park crash was the only fatal car wreck in the city today, according to police. However, Ben Smith, editor in chief of BuzzFeed.com, issued a statement announcing Hastings' death in a car accident in Los Angeles, saying the journalist's BuzzFeed colleagues were ``shocked and devastated by the news that Michael Hastings in gone.'' ``Michael was a great, fearless journalist with an incredible instinct for the story, and a gift for finding ways to make his readers care about anything he covered from wars to politicians,'' Smith said. ``He wrote stories that would otherwise have gone unwritten, and without him there are great stories that will go untold. Michael was also a wonderful, generous colleague and a joy to work with. Our thoughts are with Elise (his wife) and the rest of his family and we are going to miss him.'' Hastings was perhaps most famous for his candid 2010 Rolling Stone interview with McChrystal, who was then commander of NATO forces in Afghanistan and was critical of the White House's oversight of the military. His comments resulted in the general being summoned to Washington, D.C., and his eventual resignation. Hastings was still a contributing editor at Rolling Stone. ``Great reporters exude a certain kind of electricity, the sense that there are stories burning inside them, and that there's no higher calling or greater way to live life than to be always relentlessly trying to find and tell those stories,'' Rolling Stone managing editor Will Dana said in a story about Hastings' death posted on the magazine's website. ``I'm sad that he won't be stopping by my office for any more short visits which would stretch for two or three completely engrossing hours,'' Dana said. ``He will be missed.'' Hastings wrote two books about war, including ``The Operators'' about Afghanistan, and ``I Lost My Love in Baghdad,'' about Iraq. LOUDLABS NEWS

Michael Hastings Death Brings About Conspiracy Theories, Reporter's Deadly Car Crash, CIA

The apparent death of Michael Hastings, the young investigative journalist known for ruffling feathers among the nation's power elite, has brought with it a wave of unanswered questions and speculation. Best known for a Rolling Stone article that led to the firing of Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the 33-year-old BuzzFeed reporter died in a car accident in Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, according to a statement released by Ben Smith, BuzzFeed's editor-in-chief.
While the journalistic community has largely reacted to the news with an outpouring of grief, online forums have been running wild with conspiracy theories, and why wouldn't they? Some of the details surrounding the story read like a poorly written political thriller. As of Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles County coroner's office still hadn't determined that an "unrecognizable" body pulled from a fiery solo car crash was actually Hastings, according to the Los Angeles Times. (The body is identified only as "John Doe 117.")

Meanwhile, LA Weekly reports that Hastings was reporting extensively on the CIA at the time of his death, and the Guardian's Glenn Greenwald pointed out that Hastings' last article for BuzzFeed was on the NSA and the Democrats' love of spying on Americans.
In Hastings' 2012 book, "The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan," he writes of a McChrystal staffer who allegedly said to him, "We'll hunt you down and kill you if we don't like what you write."

At the very least, there are still many dots to be connected, but as is often the case with unusual news stories, the real conspiracy-theory fireworks are on Reddit -- in particular, one RIP Hastings thread in which users have been running amok with Reddit-esque guesswork about how Hastings' enemies might have pulled off such a deed.

"I wonder how small a remote driving device would be," one user speculated.

"Don't need that, just mess up his brakes and fuel line," another user replied. "Car slides, crashes and catches fire."

Others suggested "throttle sabotage," a manipulation that would prevent a car from decelerating and which could explain the vehicle's reported high speed at the time of the crash. Yet another user postulated that the "unrecognizable" body suggests abduction, not murder. Finally, one Redditor issued a warning to journalists investigating the case: Don't dig too deep.

"Stick with the party line if you want a long happy life," the user posted.

Other comments on different threads posted to the "Conspiro" subreddit contained similar sentiments:

"Full disclosure: I don't [know] what They were targeting him for, besides his reputation. Was it what he found or what he was about to find or that if he worked on the story, he would've definitely found something. I think this is the possible start of a trend of taking out investigative journos."
Reddit wasn't the only forum where Hastings conspiracy theorists were expressing themselves. Twitter users put forth some thoughts as well, albeit less creatively.
